Should we register in advance on on site?
In advance, please! When you register in advance, we know you are coming and can
prepare your registration packet for your arrival. Your on site check in will be
much faster. You can register in advance n three different ways:
- Through the online forms under the "Registration" links on the WashJam.org
home page
- By mailing in the form found under the "Registration" links on the WashJam.org
home page
- By calling the Chief Seattle Council camping department at 206-725-0361
We've registered but need to change our headcount. Should we do that in
advance?
Each Pack, Troop, Team, or Crew who plans to attend WashJam should register all
Scouts and leaders under one registration. We want to communicate registration
and arrival information with one point of contact for each unit, and the single
registration will help simplify this. Once the unit has registered, the number
of participants can be adjusted (upward) up to and including onsite arrival. If
you have already registered and need to add participants or leaders, please do that
in advance also.
How do we change our headcount?
Unfortunately, there is no way currently to modify your online registration. Here
are the ways to modify your existing registration, regardless of whether you created
it online, by mail, or phone:
- Call the Chief Seattle Council camping department at 206-725-0361.
- You can create a new online registration with just the additional people. You'll
have to re-enter all the leader information when you do that. Follow up
with a call or e-mail to the Chief Seattle Council camping department to tell them
what you've done so they can make sure to connect all your registration records
into one.
- You can add to your registration on site. Please bring a check or credit card to
pay for the additional registrations, and be prepared for this to take a while,
since the contents of your check in packet will have to be adjusted on site.
Help! I entered our headcount when I registered at WashJam.org, but I've forgotten
my password and can't edit it! What do I do?
Don't worry about the WashJam.org registration. Or maybe you should, if you
thought registering on the web site registered you for WashJam. It did
not. It only put you on a mailing list for WashJam information,
and collected information we used to plan the event. There is no connection
between registering on the website and actually registering your unit. If
you have only registered for WashJam.org information, we don't know you are coming,
are not preparing yoru check in packet, and have not collected your fees.
So if you only registered on WashJam.org, don't worry about fixing
your password. Do use the online forms, mail in form, or a call
to the camping department to complete your official unit registration for WashJam
right away. Registering on WashJam.org is not really "registering".
Do we preregister as one-day participants?
Yes, we have preregistration available for day participants. The fee is the
same for preregistration and on site registration, but you will check in faster
and help us plan for the best experience for you.
