Outdoors programs are what WashJam 2022 is all about! Here you will find detailed information about activities, Arena Shows, a daily WashJam program schedule, WashJam Leader's Guide, Cub Scout World, and the Scouts BSA activity areas.
The activities at WashJam are organized into ten different areas, each with a Scouting theme. Campers are encouraged to visit each of the program areas, experience the activities, and have fun. Activities listed here are a representation of those held at past WashJams and are subject to change for 2022.
Cub Adventure World
This program area is specifically designed for Cub Scouts and is all about Circus themed adventures 'Under the Big Top', and other exciting themed activities! Cub World 2016 featured a variety of activities including stage shows, backyard games, monkey bridges, bounce house, climbing walls, face painting, prehistoric adventures, space adventures, BB and Archery shooting galleries, and a Western themed town!

The latest developments at WashJam this week include lots of exciting activities for Cubs and Scouts. Cub Scout Adventure World will include a 'Big Top' circus tent, filled with lots of fun carnival games, live shows, jugglers and more!
Food Trucks!
We now have a variety of new food truck vendors coming to WashJam: Beanwater Coffee & Espresso, Snow cones and s'mores from Troop 436, Chick-Fil-A Fried Chicken, Red Barn Kettle Corn, Johnny's Ice cream, Quesadillas, roasted corn, Pizza and more!
Aquatics Challenge: WashJam has secured beachfront access to Waughop Lake at Fort Steilacoom Park, with canoeing and kayaking.

Our merit badge midway will offer a wide variety of merit badges to choose from, including Environmental Science, Soil and Water Conservation, Nature, Forestry, Geology, Astronomy, Indian Lore, American Heritage, Wilderness Survival, Law, Genealogy, Scouting Heritage, Chess, Radio, Coin Collecting, Photography, Moviemaking, Digital Technology and more.
Most merit badges offered at WashJam will give the Scouts an opportunity to get a partial completion but not complete the badge. Some require prerequisites to be completed at home before coming, or at home after Washjam.
Scouts wishing to get credit for merit badges must bring their own blue cards.
